'Stand Up' is award-winning director Vidhu Vincent’s new movie with Rajisha Vijayan and Nimisha Vijayan appearing in prominent roles. This is Vidhu’s second movie after her critically acclaimed movie ‘Manhole’, which was awarded the best movie in Kerala State Film Awards 2016. Vidhu was also adjudged the best director for the movie in the same year.
The talented director has taken the story of stand up comedian and her friends in her second movie. The film has Nimisha Sajayan appearing as Diya and Rajisha Vijayan as Keerthi. The trailer of the movie was released recently and it got good reception.
The director on Saturday released a new video song from the movie which shows the romantic part of the plot. In the song, mind-blowing shots from ‘Peppara Dam’ in Thiruvananthapuram can be seen. Sharing the video on Facebook, the director wrote that ‘Peppara is less shot in Malayalam cinema and the shooting of the movie started in the area initially'.
The song features Rajisha and newcomer Venkatesh romancing in a bike. The music is composed by Varkey and sung by Anne Amie and Rithu Vysakh. The film is produced by director B. Unnikrishnan and Anto Joseph. Cinematography is handled by Toby Thomas and edited by Christy Sebastain.
