SAI PALLAVI BEGINS HER SECOND FILM

The speculation's finally been put to rest and it's official! Sai Pallavi, better known to us as Malar from Premam, has started her second Malayalam project with Dulquer Salmaan. Although it was earlier announced that the young actress would be pairing up with Dulquer, the shooting of the film commenced today (November 16th) in Kochi. Dulquer announced the auspicious start to the film on his social media page:

 

Today we started Sameerkka's (Sameer Thahir) new film directed and produced by him and co produced by Shyju Khaled and Ashiq Usman ! Written by Rajesh, Gireesh Ganga is the DoP whom I've known from my first film. All my old friends are around from NPCB and Bangalore Days ! Sai Pallavi everyone's favourite Malar from Premam is the female lead ! I think everyone is gonna have a great time shooting the film. We need your prayers and love to do our best ! (sic)

 

The yet-to-be-titled film is being directed by popular cinematographer/director Sameer Thahir, who had earlier collaborated with Dulquer in the road movie Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. Further details on the film including the rest of the cast and crew have not been revealed yet although actor/producer Dinesh Panickker revealed on his social media profile that he will be joining the cast to play the father of Sai Pallavi's character in the film.
