Recently while interacting with the media, Kamal Haasan had stated that if he enters full-fledged politics, he might quit acting. His political entry is nearly certain but when is the only question left to be answered.
Though his political entry could be good for Indian politics, we will always have to prepare ourselves to let go of the magnificent actor Kamal Haasan. He has Saabash Naidu and Vishwaroopam both in different stages of production. Today, we had the official announcement about Indian 2.
Indian as we know is an intense and strong film that talks about corruption. Will Indian 2 deal just with corruption or will it discuss other issues that plague the society? Nevertheless, even if it is half impactful as Indian 1, it would immensely help Kamal Haasan's political entry.
Now that Shankar is still busy with Enthiran 2 and Kamal needs to complete V2 and Sabash Naidu, we could expect this project to go on floors by the 1st quarter of 2018. Kamal might still have to give one year for Indian 2 given Shankar's track record. Shankar is someone who works on multilevel and wants even the minute things to be perfect.
We say they wrap Indian 2 by mid-2019, that is probably the time Kamal would want to start his political campaign in an aggressive way to aim for the 2021 state elections. But if he is looking for 2019 General Elections, he might have to finish his commitments for Indian 2 before 2019.
From what we see, this looks to be an ideal plan ahead of Kamal's political entry. If this scheme turns out to be true, Indian 2 might well be Kamal Haasan's last film as a hero. Kamal is always a man of surprises, so we can never be sure of what his plans are?
Ever since he took over the reins of production, Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2, has been steadily proceeding towards the finish line. We had also reported about the team’s location scouting in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, there were rumors floating around about the trailer of Vishwaroopam 2 and also the Hindi rights of the film. Putting all those speculations to rest, Kamal took to Twitter to clarify that he would update on the film’s progress.
His tweet read, “False news about trailer of VR2. RKFI is bound to inform admirers of progress. We facilitate Tamil VR2's release. We own the Hindi rights”
