THIS DIRECTOR SAYS HORROR AND SEX ARE LOVED BY ADULT AUDIENCES

Prawaal Raman, director of Dobaara: See Your Evil, which is scheduled for June 2nd release, in his recent interview to a Bollywood daily, revealed interesting update on his observation on horror films in India.

The director, when asked about his preferences on the horror films, answered that to Indian movie lovers, horror films satisfy their needs of watching soft porn. Raman further added that in early 90s horror and sex were incorporated and adult audiences loved this new genre of films. Since the censor certificate was 'A,' it became a stronger reason to add erotica to a horror film.

Prawaal Raman's Dobaara: See Your Evil is an official remake of Hollywood film Oculus. The film features  Huma Qureshi,  Saqib Saleem,  Lisa Ray and Adil Hussain playing the main characters.
