Akshay Kumar's latest release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will now be screening in all the village sarpanches in their respective districts of Haryana. The order came from State Development and Panchayats Minister O P Dhankar who had asked all the panchayat officers to arrange a special screening.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha movie talks about the age-old tradition of open defecation in the country and its effects on the environment. As part of PM Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign the movie also talks about cleanliness. Reports also say that going forward there would be few more states who would screen the movie in their respective villages. Apart from villages, the movie is also set to screen in government schools in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
