HAASAN AND AGNIHOTRI TO RECREATE MAGIC OF "EK DUJE KE LIYE"

Remebmber Kadal? Looks like 'Scent of a Woman' is bound to take a route similar to Kadal. 'Scent of a Woman' is a short film which features Actor Tanuj Agnihotri and Actress Akshara Haasan in the main lead. Their parents Rati Agnihotri and Kamal Haasan played lovers in the movie "Ek Duje Ke Liye" (1981). The movie portrayed the story of two star-crossed lovers and was a blockbuster. Now Kamal Haasan’s youngest daughter, Akshara Haasan (who had her debut flick Shamitabh alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush) and Rati Agnihotri’s son, Tanuj Virwani (who did the movie "One Night Stand" with Sunny Leone) will be seen together in 'Scent Of A Woman', an intense romantic drama.

Recently the poster of the movie got launched where Akshara was looking menacing and her mysterious eyes are apparently seeking some kind of revenge. 'Scent Of A Woman' is a story of Akira (played by Akshara Haasan) who finds herself caught between an unfaithful boyfriend and an uncertain future. Actor Tanuj Virwani has written, acted and directed the short film.

Tanuj quoted, "I like making short films as it keeps my creative juices flowing. In between I have taken the break because of my work commitments. In my short film, I fell upon this interesting idea of how this girl continues existing in a wrong relationship as she doesn't have the courage to break away from it . And how sometimes we just need that one person, a catalyst to come and push us into making a much needed and overdue decision . I sounded off the idea to Akshara and she loved it."
