Singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson on Saturday revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus on Instagram and also detailed the frustrating attempts he had to undergo in order to be tested.
In his post, he says that he and his wife were touring till March 12 and when they visited a hospital on March 13, they were turned away. It was almost a month until they could get tested. While Simpson has the virus, luckily, his wife has been found to be negative.
The singer is quarantined until April 19. In his post, he also took a dig at American President Donald Trump for not mooting mask testing and speaking of opening the markets when things are seemingly still bleak.
