Yuvan Shankar Raja entered the Tamil film music scene at the age of 16. Though Aravindhan hardly took any notice, but it didn't take long enough for Yuvan to master the game as he bounced back with a successful album Poovellam Kettupar.

But it was with Selvaraghavan's Thulluvatho Illamai, Yuvan created a name for himself, until then, he was referred to as Ilayaraaja's son. But this started to change after Nanda and Thulluvatho Illamai.

With back to back successful albums like Manmathan and 7G Rainbow Colony, he had emerged into a brand called ‘Yuvan Shankar Raja’.

No matter what heights you reach, it is always a special feeling to see your kid shine in the same field that you are a master at. Will Ziya, Yuvan's daughter take up music? that's is still too far to think about, but for now, check out this cute video that Yuvan shared of a daughter playing a keyboard.
