Yuvan Shankar Raja attended the audio launch of Sakka Podu Podu Raja starring Santhanam in the lead role. Simbu has composed music for the film which seems to be its major attraction.

Speaking at the event, Yuvan said, "Music is there in Simbu's blood. He is multi-talented, and all of us know that. To see him compose music for a film and me singing in it was quite emotional. I always used to give him high pitch tracks, and he did the same for me with 'Kadhal Devathai' song. Some of his touches were very challenging for me to sing. 'Enna vechi senjitaaru' and my re-recording took five hours."
