'Kana Kaanum Kaalangal' which aired on Vijay TV from 2006-2009 revolved around the story of a group of high school friends. The show, which went on to telecast more than 500 episodes, became a smashing hit among the youngsters who took to the channel everyday to watch the series. The theme song composed by Vijay Antony became a earworm tune for the youth too.
Due to the success of the serial, a sequel called 'Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kallooriyin Kadhai' was made. Later, another sequel was also made to this which was titled 'Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Saalai'.
After almost a decade, now several actors who acted in serial have come together for a reunion and the Telecast of the same is expected soon on Vijay TV. Mohamed Irfan, Nisha Ganesh, Karthik Vasu, Swetha Subramanian, Sai Pramodita, Haripriya, Ganesh Prabhu and many others had joined the show to celebrate the reunion.
