Actress Hansika Motwani had signed a movie titled '105 minutes' few months back. The film which is touted to be a psychological thriller has been made with only one character and taken in a single shot with no edits. The movie is directed by Raja Dussa.
The movie had gained attention ever since it was announced and now with the shoot wrapped up, the makers have decided to release the movie in many international languages inlucluding Chinese and Korean apart from the regional versions of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. In the history of world cinema, this will be the third-ever movie to be shot with a single character. The entire shooting of the movie was completed in a span of just six days with 15 days of rehearsals.
There are only five to six sequence shots in the film and each sequence is made in such a way that it is around 20 minutes long. The makers have decided to screen the movie in various international film festivals. Another special fact is that the film is the first-ever single-shot movie conceived as a single-shot in real time with a single actor.
‘One Not Five Minutes’ is produced by Bommak Shiva under the banner Rudransh Celluloid. The film has musical score by Sam CS and cinematography by Kishore Boyipadu.
Hansika was last seen in the 2019 Telugu Movie 'Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL’. In Tamil, she played the lead alongside Atharvaa in the movie ‘100’, which released in 2019. She is currently awaiting the release of her 50th film 'Maha'. Apart from this, she has 'My Name is Shruthi', written and directed by Srinivas Omkar.
