Proving that age is just a number, Actor Vishal's father GK Reddy has been nominated as one of Fit India Movement's ambassadors. GK Reddy is known to prioritise on health and exercise. The 83-year-old fitness enthusist flaunts his muscles, makes sure he works out everyday and is an inspiration to not just Vishal, but to all the masses as well.
Fit India is a flagship programme of the Government of India, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019. People from all walks of life and age groups have come forward to include fitness activities in their daily lives and have also been added as brand ambassadors to the movement.
Congratulating him, the letter addressed to GK Reddy read, "As a prominent name in the fitness arena, you have the power to motivate people to make fitness as a way of life and make India a FIT NATION."
Vishal too took to Twitter to share the happy news and wrote, "Super happy that my Dad #GKReddy has been nominated as #FitIndiaAmbassador. Hats off to U & your consistency in fitness even now at the age of 82. You have always inspired Me, I am sure you will Inspire many more to become fitter, stronger and lead a healthy lifestyle. Always Proud of you, GB."
On the workfront, Vishal started dubbing for his upcoming action movie 'Enemy' directed by Anand Shankar. He has also finished shooting for his 31st film 'Veerame Vaagai Soodum' directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan. The shoot of his next 'Vishal 32' starring Sunaina in the lead role had also begun on his 44th birthday. The movie is directed by Vinothkumar.
