Except for Rohini Silver Screens and Parimalam, none of the other theatres have opened ticket bookings for Vijay's Mersal. With the film's release just 4 days away, fans are wanting to know why other exhibitors are still silent?

Archana Kalpathi, CEO of AGS Cinemas clarifies the reason for not opening the bookings via Twitter, "We are waiting for the Government order to decide ticket price and open bookings Will keep you updated on social media. #Mersal #Diwali".

It must be noted that the Government had announced new ticket prices for theatres. So once the order reaches the exhibitors, they will open the bookings.
