Actor John Kokken has been receiving tremendous praise for his role as the antagonist 'Vembuli' in Pa Ranjith's sports drama 'Sarpatta Parambarai' which was released on Amazon Prime Video on July 22. Although he's worked on many movies including 'Osthe' and 'Veeram', this particular role catapulted him to fame.
Recently he took to Twitter to share a throwback picture on his page that revealed his role in SS Rajamouli's blockbuster hit 'Baahubali: The Beginning'. Yes, you read that right. The ace-actor had donned a small role as one of the Kalakeya army men and shared pictures which showed his intense make-up and costume for the role.
Pointing out that this was in his initial days of acting, John Kokken said, "#throwbacksunday.......how I looked in #bahubali. Let me see how many of you know that I was even a part of that movie. And what character I played." While fans were amazed with his dedication and rise to fame, many also shared a clipping from the scene where he played the role.
John Kokken is currently involved in a number of projects including the much-awaited 'KGF: Chapter 2' that releases on big screens in April 14, 2022, Prabhu Deva's 'Poikkal Kuthirai' and another Kannada film 'Kabzaa'.
