As reported earlier, director/producer Vetri Maaran is currently producing a film titled Sanga Thalaivan under his banner Grassroot Film Company. His longtime associate Manimaran is helming the project, which features Samuthirakani and Vijay TV fame Ramya as the leads while Karunaas, Aram fame Sunulakshmi will be seen playing important roles.
VJ Ramya has apparently completed her portion of the shoot and has begun dubbing for this project. She took to her Twitter space to confirm the same - "Nothing can be more exciting than seeing your work transform on screen level by level in the process of film making😄! The story of Sanga Thalaivan is adapted from a popular novel ‘Thariyudan’ authored by Bharathinathan. The novel is based on the key industries across westerns districts of Tamil Nadu – Salem, Coimbatore and Erode. It delves deep into the issues involving the key industries of this region.
