Director Ajay Gnanamuthu has establihed himself as one of Tamil cinema's leading filmmakers. With two thrillers namely Demonte Colony and Imaikka Nodigal to his credit, his next film, Cobra, will feature Chiyaan Vikram as lead.
Ajay, an erstwhile assistant to AR Murugadoss, recently shared a picture of his and Rangoon director Rajkumar Periyasamy when the two were working as associate directors on the sets the 2012 blockbuster Thuppakki, which starred Vijay as the lead.
Cobra also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Mrinalini Ravi, Anandraj, KS Ravikumar, Mohammad Ali Baig among others in important roles. This AR Rahman musical is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studio.
