In our recent Behindwoods’ interview, distributor Tirupur Subramaniam had made an allegation on actor Vijay for gifting gold chains to the members of the Bairavaa team in a celebration meet. Tirupur Subramaniam had said that he had incurred a loss of over 1.64 crores, after taking the Coimbatore distribution and it was not right to have a success meet when the distributors are not making any profits.
When contacted Riaz, the official PRO of Actor Vijay to get some clarification regarding Tirupur Subramaniam’s allegation, this is what he had to say, “This has been a common practice by many leading stars in recent times. Actor Vijay had gifted gold chains only for his personal satisfaction for working with a comfortable and hardworking Bairavaa team and this is not related to the success of the movie.”
