Mersal's title issue has been one of the hottest topics in Kollywood for the past few days, which was worrying Thalapathy fans.
The case was heard at the Madras High Court today, and the judgment has come in the favour of the Mersal team. The case has been dismissed and the title has been approved by the court. Mersal, now officially belongs to Thenandal Studios, Vijay, Atlee, and team.

The makers have also officially confirmed that the film will storm the screens from Diwali, which is just twelve days away from today.
