In the same breath, did you know he acted in the first-ever 3D film Tamil cinema has ever produced, called Annai Bhoomi 3D that released in 1985.

Directed by R. Thyagarajan, it also starred Radha Ravi and Nalini, and had music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film turned out to be a success at the box office.
