Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has bankrolled two projects in the form of Orange Mittai and the very recent Junga. He has now released a new video, announcing his new production venture, Merku Thodarchi Malai.
The film was already shot and finished much before Junga happened, but the team was busy screening the film in renowned International film festivals and other arenas. After getting various honours and accolades from all over the world, Merku Thodarchi Malai is gearing up for its theatrical release in Tamil Nadu.
The film has music by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, who is said to have added life with his two songs and background score. Merku Thodarchi Malai is directed by debutant Lenin Bharathi and features newcomers as the leads.
In this announcement video below, Vijay Sethupathi shares that he feels proud to have produced this film, and says the film will take the audience through a beautiful life journey with realistic moments.
