There is an interesting news for Vijay Deverakonda’s fans. The actor’s next, Dear Comrade will see him sharing the screen space with Rashmika Mandanna. The multi-lingual film has been directed by Bharat Kamma and has finally locked a release date.
The film which was slated to hit the screens on May 31 has pushed the release date to July 26 probably to get the widest possible release across the four South Indian languages. Vijay took to his social media and shared this information and wrote, “Comrades, Attention! 26th July 2019. - Vijay Deverakonda.”
This romantic-political film has Rashmika playing as a cricketer and Vijay portraying the role of a student leader. Justin Prabhakar marks his Telugu debut as the music director with this film. ‘DC’ also stars Malayalam actor Shruti Ramachandran in a crucial role.
The teaser and the songs of the film were released earlier and opened up to amazing responses. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Big Ben Cinemas banners, the film is expected to win many hearts. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy is remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh and has Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film is set to release on June 21.
