Trouble spewed between actor Vijay and his dad SA Chandrasekhar, when the latter had registered Thalapathy’s fan outfit as a political one - Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. Soon enough, the actor issued a statement saying that he has nothing to do with the party registered in his name and warned that action would be taken against those using his name for such activities.
Speaking at an event in Chennai earlier, SAC as he is popularly known made a heartfelt statement, asking for whoever affectionately calling him “Appa” to join him in his journey and render service.
He said that his political outfit would be for socially conscious youngsters who want to do good for the society and added that many are willing to travel with him.
The rift between dad and son was wide open in the public as a fallout over the new party. Vijay’s mom too had concurred that terms between father and son weren’t all that good since SAC wasn’t paying heed to the actor’s wish that he doesn’t speak about his son’s political ambitions out in the open as yet, as per Shobha Chandrasekhar.
