Spectacular is the word when you think of the combo of Atlee and Vijay. They have given Kollywood some superhit movies together - Theri, Mersal, and Bigil - and all three are truly mind-blowing in its own ways.
Atlee took up Theri in order to portray a police officer who would rise to the occasion against any crime, and also a doting father who could put himself out of trouble in order to save his loved ones. That doesn't mean he has lost his fighting spirit - you don't know what the man is capable of once his anger is aroused.
Next came Mersal and Bigil. Two movies that made quite a splash because of their impressive storyline and also due to the many avatars Vijay took for the roles. While Vijay became Joseph Kuruvilla and Vijay Kumar - both the same guy in Theri, Thalapathy took up three roles in Mersal - Vetrimaran, Vetri and Maaran and was Rayappan and Michael (Bigil) in Bigil.
But the duo were quite happy and unstoppable right from their days of Nanban it seems - for this particular picture suggests the same.
