Multi-faceted director, screenwriter, lyricist and actor Vignesh Shivan is currently busy with the preparations of the upcoming film 'SK 17', which stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. The film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions, which had earlier bankrolled Shankar's magnum opus 2.0 and Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivandha Vaanam.
The director is currently in Dubai and has brought a update about the film's development that will surely leave the fans excited. The director took to his Instagram account to express that the screenplay and dialogues are locked and finalized. In the post, he also reminisced about his travel journey and the experiences he accumulated through the process.
The director was recently seen at the Cannes Film Festival. VIgnesh Shivan's last directed project was the Suriya-starrer comic caper Thaana Serndha Koottam, which is adapted from Neeraj Pandey's 2013 film Special 26. SK 17 will feature the songs and background score composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
