Recently, OTT giant Disney+Hotstar announced that they will be releasing 7 movies directly on their platform. They also held a promotional event yesterday (June 29) with stars Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Ajay Devgn promoting their films.
Actor Vidyut Jammwal, who has given memorable performances in films like ‘Thuppakki’ and ‘Commando’ has expressed displeasure over not being invited for the promotions. His movie ‘Khuda Haafiz’ is also set to premiere on the OTT platform soon.
Vidyut Jammwal posted a Tweet that read “A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES.”
Along with Vidyut Jammwal’s movie, Kunal Kemmu’s ‘Lootcase’ will also be taking the OTT route, skipping a theatrical release. He has also posted a couple of tweets, expressing his disappointment.
