Yesterday (August 10) marked Actress Radikaa Sarathkumar's 43rd year in the film industry. The evergreen actress has acted along with top actors over the years and has also carved a name for herself in the world of Television by acting as the protaganist in serials like 'Chithi', 'Chithi 2' and 'Vaani Rani'.
Speaking on the occasion, Radikaa in a video, "Can't believe it is 43 years. I spoke to Director Bharathiraja this morning and we reminisced a lot. We spoke a lot about this 43-year-long journey. I got his blessings. He told me that I should live long for many years. That itself is a huge blessing. My father told me that his profession should stay with me. Those words are still in my heart."
Radikaa also thanked her directors, producers, technicians and actors who have been associated with her in this long journey. "Most importantly, it is my responsibility to thank my fans who have been cheering my till date," she added.
Raadhika, who is currently in Rameswaram for the shoot of Director Hari's next tentatively titled 'AV 33', celebrated the same with the crew of the film. The team organised a big cake to surprise her during the shoot.
Apart from AV 33, Radikaa has Simbu-starrer 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. She will also be starring alongside veteran actresses Urvashi and Khushbu in the Telugu film 'Aadavaalu Meeku Johaarlu' starring Sharwananad and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.
