Director Venkat Prabhu, who last directed the 2016 movie ‘Chennai 28: II’, is currently working on his next film ‘Maanadu’, which has STR playing the lead. His movie ‘Party’ is yet to release and there has been an unexpected delay on the same.
During this lockdown, Venkat Prabhu, like all other citizens, is spending time indoors. He recently shared a short film through his Twitter handle. The movie was shot by the students of BOFTA academy, using their mobile phones, during this lockdown period.

The tweet read “Happy to release @BOFTAIndia Students' Short Film #SiruThuli made in this Lockdown, shot in their mobiles, with no other support, made under the guidance of Director #Sasi.
