Venkat Prabhu is all set to begin shooting for his next. Titled Maanadu, this will be the first time STR will be playing a male lead in a Venkat Prabhu’s film. The film has Kalyani Priyadarshan in the female lead role.

When a person on Twitter tried to shame Venkat Prabhu by saying Venkat Prabhu’s film lacks stories and that’s why his movies flop. Venkat Prabhu replied funnily stating he is not doing it on purpose nor does he have a good story and that he has never had a story in hand.
The Mankatha director will also star on Chimbu Deven’s multistarrer Kasadatabara which is supposed to be a novel attempt in Tamil cinema. The film also stars Harish Kalyan, Regina Cassandra, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vijayalakshmi, Premji Amaren and others. Venkat Prabhu is also the producer of the same.
