The makers have officially announced that the film will hit the screens on the festive occasion of Pongal next year, with the trailer releasing on the 8th of November. This rural comedy entertainer has Kayal Anandhi as the female lead, with Prabhu, Jayaprakash, Robo Shankar, and others playing pivotal roles.

Interestingly, Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam has already been scheduled for a 2018 Pongal release. Let us wait for a few more months to know the final list of movies that would contest in the 2018 Pongal race.
