February 14 is celebrated as Valentine’s day around the world. It sure is a romantic day for couples and lovers. We wanted to ask the general public about their plans for Valentine’s day. So we went around the city with our VJ Nikki. We did find some hilarious and exciting responses.
Most college girls seemed to call themselves as Morattu Singles. They didn’t seem to like the day and some even said they would go and throw tomatoes and eggs on couples. Since there was only fun intended, we did break into laughter.
We met some guys around and by ‘guys’ we mean elderly men who were equally fascinating to listen to. There sure is no age for enthusiasm and laughter. The younger boys were clear with their plans which were funny. Apart from this, there were people who were waiting for their lovers, explaining their gift plans, bizzare and dream proposal expectations.
Some of them were annoyed about the idea of such a day and for some of them it just seemed like any other Thursday. All said and done, Valentine’s day is a day that celebrates loves and for singles, it’s a day where they dread being so.
