The reopening of educational institutions didn’t began on a good note as several contracted COVID-19 on campuses such as the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Anna University. Now, officials have been instructed to conduct tests on colleges and universities across the state.
In wake of this situation, poet Vairamuthu penned a note on Twitter saying that online classes might be the way to go until a vaccine comes.
His tweet read: கல்வி நிலையங்களில் கொரோனாவால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் மாணவக் கண்மணிகள் நலம்பெற விழைகிறேன். சரியான மருந்து கண்டறியப்படும்வரை அல்லது கொரோனா நம்மைக் கடந்தொழியும் காலம்வரை வகுப்பறைகள் திறக்காதிருப்பதே உகந்தது. இது உரியவர்களின் உரிய நடவடிக்கைக்காக. #coronavirus #CoronaVaccine
