Actor Vadivelu, who last acted in the 2017 action flick ‘Mersal’, has not been seen on the big screen since then. The legendary comedian, in a recent programme revealed that he will be a part of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thalaivan Irukkindran’, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see him back on screen. He is widely famous across all social media platforms as most of his comedy scenes are used as templates to create ‘Memes’.
Yesterday (23/04/2020), Vadivelu posted a new video on his Twitter handle, thanking the doctors and medical workers for their continued service. He also raised awareness on Social distancing practices that are to be followed, in a comical way.
In the video, he said “This is like a war. All of us should escape from this. Humanity must survive. The medical world must stand tall. Let’s all stay indoors and listen to what the doctors are saying. They are like Gods to us.”
Also, quoting the dialogue from his 2003 movie ‘Winner’, Vadivelu said “Indha border ah thaandi neeyum vara koodathu, naanum vara maaten. (You should not cross this border, I won't too.) But this time, instead of the border, it is our home. Stay safe indoors.”
He also stated that this is the right time to bring up the kids in the right way and teach them what is right and what is wrong. Watch the full video here:
