Both Vetri Maaran and Dhanush consider Vada Chennai as one special project which is being made as a trilogy. The film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji and others. Dhanush is expected to sport various getups since it is about a coming of age gangster.

The latest we hear is that the film is nearing its finish line and our sources have informed us that only three weeks of shooting is left for Vada Chennai.
