There are many films in Tamil cinema history that have not performed exceedingly well in the box office, but had rave reviews. One such film is then debutant Vijay Kumar's Uriyadi.
The film was raw and realistic and attracted a cult following. Vijay Kumar acted, directed, composed the music and produced the film.
On September 20, the announcement of Uriyadi's sequel broke the internet. The film is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Vijay Kumar directs this one as well. Govind Vasantha is the composer for this film.
Now, the announcement has just come in that the shooting has been completed in a single schedule. That was quite a speedy finish for the film!
