‘Uriyadi’, the 2016 film written and directed by Vijay Kumar had a huge positive response among the audience. The sequel to the film, ‘Uriyadi 2’ had been going on in full swing, with Suriya producing it under his production house 2D Entertainment.
‘Uriyadi’, based on caste and politics had a good run at the box-office. The sequel is also said to be on the same cards, with much more interesting elements to look forward to. With the shooting of the film completed, the post-production work is going on in full swing. The movie is scheduled for a release on May 17th this year, marking the summer holidays.
‘Uriyadi 2’ stars Vijay Kumar, ‘Paridhabangal’ Sudhakar and Vismaya in lead roles. It has music by Govind Vasantha of ‘96’ fame. Cinematography is handled by Praveen Kumar, while Linu M has handled the cuts. Stay tuned for more updates.
