Popular actress Samantha was recently seen on-screen in 'Jaanu' by Prem Kumar. The film was the remake of 2018 sensational romantic drama '96' that featured Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles. Sharwanand reprised Vijay Sethupathi in the Telugu version.
Incidentally, Suhasini Maniratnam's Naam foundation had crafted a 2020 Calendar with artists recreating Raja Ravi Varma's paintings. G Venkat Ram was the photographer, and he has now released an unseen picture of Samantha "with #rajaravivarma painting of an expectant mother holding a fruit symbolic of a new life."
Ravi Varma has been long hailed as the one of the most treasured artists of India. His wonderful paintings were recreated by some of the top artists of the film industry. NAAM, founded by actor-director Suhasini Maniratnam, was celebrating its 10th anniversary, and in celebration of the spirit of womanhood, Photographer G Venket Ram had designed a unique calendar for the year 2020 for the NAAM Charitable Trust.
