Thalapathy Vijay was last seen on screen in Master that was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film featured Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj amongst others in prominent roles.
Post which, it was announced that the actor will be teaming up with director Nelson Dilipkumar of Doctor fame for the very first time and the upcoming film has been titled as Beast. Vijay will be seen pairing opposite Pooja Hegde for the film.
The actor is currently engaged in shooting of this upcoming film in Chennai. And what has grabbed the attention is none other than a big surprise for all the Thalapathians and Thala Dhoni fans. Yes, the duo has met today in Chennai today (August 12).
