South-Indian actress Trisha is loved by all for her impressive roles in ‘96’, ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ ‘Ayitha Ezhuthu’, ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’, among others. She has many new movies in her kitty. The actress has been casted in Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. The gorgeous actress will be doing her second Malayalam movie with Superstar Mohanlal in the film titled ‘Ram’.
‘Hey Jude’ was Trisha’s first Malayalam movie. The 2018-movie was directed by Syamaprasad and Nivin Pauly did the lead role in the movie. The actress opened up about her interest in doing Malayalam movies during a media interaction at the launch of Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s new movie ‘'Ram’. Mohanlal and Jeethu will team up for the second time after their blockbuster movie ‘Drishyam’, which was released in 2015.
Trisha will pair opposite Mohanlal in the movie. Speaking about her second movie, Trisha said, she always wanted to acted with Mohanlal. “I am very excited to work with Mohanlal. Whenever I met him (Mohanlal), my first question was, when are we going to work together. Its my dream to work with him. I was looking for the right film after ‘Hey Jude’. I am very excited about the film and role in it, the ace actress said.
‘Ram’ is touted to be a big budget movie to be shot in UK, Cairo, besides India. The movie is produced by Ramesh P Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai under the banner of Abhishek Films and Passion Studios. The tagline of the movie is “He has no boundaries”.
