Daniel Craig is to retire as James Bond with No Time to Die which has been scheduled for a worldwide release in November. Interestingly, one of the names that has been tipped to carry over the iconic James Bond character from Daniel Craig is British actor Tom Hardy.
However, it is also to be noted that no official confirmation has come on this considering the current film is yet to hit the theatres.
The internet seems to be divided as far as the latest probable choice is to be considered. While some fans went ahoy and wanted the news to be true, a few others remained sceptical of Hardy's fit for the character.
It is to be noted that when Daniel Craig was announced as the latest Bond, taking over Pierce Brosnan, he had also met with a sea of criticism ranging from too short to play the iconic character to being a "blonde" Bond, which critics and audiences felt didn't suit the character.
However, Craig seems to have smashed the misconceptions with his nuanced acting. Fans welcomed the new Bond with a vulnerable side to him. Let's see if Hardy too can change his fortunes around, in case the news turns out to be true.
