Director A.R.Murugadoss' Sarkar, starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role, is running with packed houses in the theatres.
Meanwhile, the film is slowly being dragged into controversies for a few scenes related to Tamil Nadu Politics. In his recent interaction with media, Minister Kadambur Raju, asked the team of Sarkar to remove a few scenes from the film.
"Not just for the sake of the movie, but, Vijay's political motives are very much visible. The people will not accept what he is doing. Also, it is not good for a growing actor like Vijay to do this. The State Government doesn't have any connection with the Censor Board.
However, it has come to our Government's notice that a few scenes from the film are controversial and defaming. We want those scenes to be deleted from the film, and if they voluntarily remove, it is good for them. If not, then we'd decide on what could be done further.", said Kadambur Raju
