Jayam Ravi's Tik Tik Tik is India's first space movie. Pairing up with director Shakti Soundar Rajan for the second time after Miruthan, the director has something to say about the experience. He said "Firstly, two people have been very important for the making of this film - my producer Jhabak and my hero Jayam Ravi. Not just Indian cinema, the whole of Asian cinema itself is not ready to make space films because of the intricacies involved in the making. Thus, I'm very thankful to my producer for believing in me.

I'm also thankful to D.Imman and I feel blessed that Tik Tik Tik happens to be his 100th film. There was a time where we had to put four sets simultaneously and art director Murthy was so particular on the details that he almost got a heart attack, one could realize the efforts taken after the film is released.

If we were able to pull off such a film in a very less number of days its definitely because of my cinematographer Venkatesh. When we started this project, everyone was doubtful of the CG that is going to be involved, Ajax, a CG company from Chennai helped me so much to materialize this project.  I also thank everyone who worked for this film and I look forward to the audience to watch it."
