Just when you thought that the 'Vaathiyar' memes were over, Arya jumped into the bandwagon into his own style, not to point out his favourite memes, but to welcome his actual 'Rangan Vaathiyar' from 'Sarpatta Parambarai' aka Pasupathy on Twitter.
'Sarpatta Parambarai', directed by Pa Ranjith has been gaining praise and appreciation from all corners for the strong storyline, screenplay and the honest portrayal of North Madras in the 1970s. A section of fans started the viral meme of recreating the cycle scene from the movie and it soon spread like wildfire. Fans have also been tagging Pasupathy and it looked like he had he had even reacted to a few, but his PRO soon announced on his behalf that he's not on any social media platforms.
Today (August 26), Pasupathy made an official entry into Twitter and Arya couldn't have given a more rousing welcome. He took to Twitter to share a photograph from the movie of him riding the bicyle with Pasupathi and said that Twitter is a bloodier world than that of boxing. His Tweet in Tamil roughly translates to: "Vaathiyare, this is Twitter Vaathiyarey. This is a bloodier world than boxing. When you heard that many are here in your name, you came here to show that you are the original. Your heart is everything. Come Vaathiyare let's go into this world."
Earlier Santhosh Narayanan, the music director of the movie, Shabeer Kallarakkal aka Dancing Rose, Santhosh Pratap who played Raman recreated the meme in their own way and surprised fans. After watching the movie, Actor Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and a host of several popular Directors praised Pa Ranjith and the actors for their hardwork and dedication they put into the movie. 'Sarpatta Parambarai' is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
