The critically acclaimed Malayalam film - The Great Indian Kitchen has indeed received several positive responses from the audiences and also make one (the males) to think twice to ask for a glass of water especially when just sitting.
Directed by Jeo Baby, the film featured Suraj Venjaramoodu and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles. A couple of days ago, hot buzz was there that the film will be remade in Tamil and Telugu as well.
Now, looks like this is true as Aishwarya Rajesh has agreed to reprise Nimisha's role which will be helmed by director Kannan who is holding the Tamil and Telugu remake rights. The shoot of the same has kickstarted with a formal pooja.
While PG Muthiah will be handling the camera, Pattukottai Prabhakar will be writing the dialogues. The Tamil version is said to be set against the backdrop of Karaikudi. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
