Popular Theatre exhibitor Abirami Ramanathan was one of the chief guests in the ongoing Mersal audio launch event.
Abirami Ramanathan during his speech said, "25 years back Vijay used to request us to screen his films, and we made him live. Now, the situation is totally contrasting and we are waiting for his film to release. He is making us live now. It is so good to see the growth of Vijay. He would soon win an Oscar award."
