Thambi Ramaiah, who is a renowned actor in Tamil cinema, is also a director, who has helmed Vadivelu's 2008 film, Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan. Post that film, Thambi Ramaiah concentrated on his acting career, who went on to bag the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film, Mynaa.
He has now got back to his directorial avatar after a gap of 10 years, with the film, Maniyaar Kudumbam, starring his son Umapathi in the lead role.
This comedy entertainer is all set to hit the screens this Friday, on August 3, and the makers have now released a sneak peek video. This generation's couple (Umapathy and Mrudula) gets to listen to their grandmother's love story, and that is what the sneak peek shows us. Apart from the leads, actors like Samuthirakani, Radharavi, Singam Puli, Yaashika Aanand are also part of the cast.
