Actor Thambi Ramaiah's directorial venture Maniyar Kudumbam is releasing on August 3. The film stars his son Umapathy in the lead role and this is touted to be a family drama focussing on the relationship between a father and a son. The move also has a lot of bankable actors like Samuthirakani, Radha Ravi, Singam Puli, Jeya Prakash, Vivek Prasanna and a lot more.
Talking to Behindwoods prior to the release, he talked about Ajith's acting in Viswasam. The veteran actor said: "In Viswasam, you can see an Ajith that you have never seen before. People usually use the term 'Thara Level ku erangi nadikardhu', I don't know if he can do something like this again. That is left to the concern of the directors. But in Viswasam, he has come out all guns blazing. 'Erangi Adichirkaru!' It will be a highly entertaining film. A treat is awaiting the fans. That's all I can say for now."
Maniyar Kudumbam sees Thambi Ramaiah make his debut as a music director. He has also written the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for this film, set in a rural backdrop. P.K Varma handles the lens while Gopi Krishna is the editor. This film is bankrolled by Sakthi Film Factory. The team had released a song featuring Yaashika Aanand as a part of it's promotions.
