Apart from his amazing artistic on-screen endeavors, Thalapathy's oration has a separate fan-base. Most of his very powerful and thoughtful speeches feature in the audio launch of his movies and that tradition is continuing with Bigil too.

The audio launch of Bigil happened on the 19th os September at Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. Bigil is directed by Atlee, produced by AGS Entertainment and features A.R. Rahman's music. Nayanthara is the leading lady and a star ensemble is assigned for supporting roles.

During Thalapathy's speech, he talked about the recent tragedy of Subashree. For the unversed, an illegally placed banner fell on 23 yeard old techie, Subashree when she was driving on the road which led to her tragic death. Vijay delivered his condolences to the family of Subashree and said that people are reacting wrongly, on lorry drivers and the one making these banners, rather than the one's actually responsible. He stated "You can tear my posters, but don't touch my fans".

Talking about the social media trolling, Vijay said, "A little negativity online is ok, but it should not exceed the limits. It hurts when it crosses.” He further adds that one should respect his enemies and opponents. Also, those who handle social media hatred should instead focus their energies, and hashtags and trends on concerning social issues.
