After a gap of 11 years, the polling for the single-phase urban local bodies elections across Tamil Nadu began at 7 am and is expected to end by 6 pm today on February 19. The last 1 hour is earmarked to people who have been affected by Coronavirus.
Counting of votes would commence on February 22. Saying that Thalapathy Vijay has casted his vote at a polling booth near Neelankarai in Chennai and the video of the same did heavy rounds in the social media. He can be seen making his grand entry in a red car.
In a viral video that is doing heavy rounds, as the actor arrived to the voting spot, a large crowd including media gathered around him to click pictures which brought inconvenience to the public who were also there to cast their votes.
Seeing this, the actor could be seen apologising by folding hands for creating the inconvenience. This form of gesture has indeed left fans and others in awe and one can be even heard saying, “Gentleman, so proud!” Check out here -
