Actress Malavika Mohanan who had stunned everyone as Poongodi in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta is back again with actor Vijay’s next which has been tentatively titled as Thalapathy 64. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features Malavika as the female lead.
Apart from the leads, the film has an ensemble cast which includes Vijay Sethupathi, Shanthnu Bhagyraj, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri G Kishan, Sriman, VJ Ramya, Prem, Ramesh Thilak amongst others in prominent roles.
While the team had recently wrapped up its Karnataka schedule, the next schedule is said to start in the first week of January 2020 in Chennai and will have Vijay busy with his shoot in a popular studio.
Produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators, the film features music Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to release on Summer 2020. Now, amidst these busy hectic shoots, the lead actress had decided to take a break and is at a vacation in Africa.
