As reported earlier, Thalapathy 62 gets officially launched today, January 19 with a formal pooja ceremony. The film features Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles and is directed by AR Murugadoss. 

Vijay, AR Murugadoss, Keerthy Suresh, Girish Gangadharan, T Santhanam took part in the launch event held in Chennai. Thalapathy clapped the first shot of the movie and he was also spotted with a stud in his ear, maybe it is part of his new makeover for Thalapathy 62.
